For the Love of Nature: Exploring the Nature Almanac and The Nature Journal with Katherine Hauswirth

When: Sunday, May 6, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Where: Roger Tory Peterson Estuary Center, 90 Halls Road, Old Lyme, CT 06371

Details: Join local nature writer Katherine Hauswirth as she shares her passion for the nature almanac and nature journaling! Hear nature almanac entries that correspond with the day or week of the session and reflect on how they relate to our own experiences in the natural world. Discuss nature journaling and the many forms it can take. Learn a bit about phenology, an area of ecology that investigates the seasonal rhythms of plants and animals. | $10 for members, $15 for non-members, register here.
